Driver arrested after hit and run
crash in Adelaide
Police have arrested a 25-year-old driver allegedly involved in a serious hit and run car crash in Adelaide's south overnight.
A 51-year-old woman and her 28-year-old passenger were T-boned at the intersection of Main South Road and Randell Road at Morphett Vale about 9.45pm.
Police say the Port Noarlunga South driver of a red Volkswagen fled the scene after being picked up in a stolen Kia before emergency crews arrived.
The driver of the T-boned Honda was left trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be freed by ambulance crews.
She was then taken to Flinders Medical Centre with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger was also injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
