Aldi recalls unsafe double power point wall socket

Supermarket chain Aldi is urgently recalling some faulty power point USB wall sockets over fears the product can cause house fires or death from electrocution.
The double USB power points, made under the brand name Workzone, have been sold at Aldi stores across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory, the recall notice said.
The notice said the defect was related to "weak contacts in the power point" and that "there is a risk of serious injury or death from fire or electrocution".
